Mail Lists and Discussion Forums
Mail Lists for Control, SCADA, Calibration and other topics detailed below. These must be subscribed to separatly as indicated. Some also have web pages which may indicate the types of topics debated. These are also discussion groups but instead of logging into the newsgroups the threads are sent directly to your mail box. They are generally moderated and more disciplined than the News Groups. They can be quite influential in forming opinion.

- Control.com is the product of the famous Automation Control Mail List
The purpose of this list or group is to foster discussion among those involved in the development and use of automation-related technologies as applied in manufacturing processes. Shared experience and knowledge in a non-promotional and technically diverse venue is the goal.
It is administered by Ken Crater, who may be reached via email at ken@control.com.
This is a very active list with lots of lively discussion.

One of the services that ICTnet Catalan Institute of Technology allows is a tecnological lists groups about: Internet, wire and satelit, information technology, production technology, quality, management,.... Besides this list offers people an space for discussing, each list spreads a weekly technological newsletters with links, notices and news related with respectives themes. There is information also available in English. They also operate a Production Technology mail list (in Spanish).
