Due to the special design, these sensors have an increased media compatibility and can be used with gases and non-corrosive liquids. Batteries and humidity! - The climate crisis is driving demand for the electrification of transportation and energy infrastructure, which in turn is accelerating the need for more powerful and safer rechargeable batteries, including li-ion, sodium-ion, and solid-state. Pneumatic auto-retraction system. - A retraction system for thermal imagers has been launched by Ametek. This will safeguard the instrument and preventing overheating or damage in the event of loss of power, purge flow loss or cooling. It complements the thermal imager range, adding another level of safety and damage prevention. New dosing system. - DataPhysics Instruments and the start-up droptical from Nuremberg (D) are bringing the FlexDrop dosing system to market. The FlexDrop dosing system is compatible with all contact angle meters of the OCA series and can dose tiny drops in the picolitre and nanolitre range. The two companies are thus setting new standards for contact angle and 1-click surface energy measurements, especially on very small surface areas.
Temperature concentrator system with increased efficiency. - A significant product update to the TCS Temperature Concentrator System has been released by Moore Industries. The TCS originally consisted of the TCM Temperature Concentrator Module and the HMC HART® -to-MODBUS RTU Converter, which work together to reduce the cost of transmitting multiple temperature sensor measurements in both general-purpose and hazardous area applications by concentrating and transmitting up to 32 signals over one MODBUS RTU based network. Innovative EMC solutions for the aerospace & medical electronics. - Anritsu has partnered with Y.I.C. Technologies to develop groundbreaking tools that support companies performing EMC pre-compliance measurements. BESS for Irish data centres. - GridBeyond will be delivering BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) solutions to Keppel DC Dublin 1 and 2, which are located at City West and Ballycoolin, near Dublin (IRL) respectively. The two data centres are owned by Keppel DC REIT, a Singapore listed pure-play data centre REIT.

Danfoss’ hydraulic remote control range includes the DHRCJ joystick, DHRCP foot pedal, and DHRCD sectional valve. Large touch-panel display. - Inelco Hunter has announced an extended range of displays to include a large 15.6" HD resolution, high-brightness touch panel display. It features an operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments, including outdoor use.

MES digitalising medicine production processes. - Minaris Regenerative Medicine GmbH (Minaris) is a leading contract development and manufacturing organisation for cell and gene therapies. The company has implemented a digital Manufacturing Execution System (MES), the newest version of Werum PAS-X MES by Körber, at its German site in Ottobrunn near Munich. By doing so, Minaris is converting its production management to digital processes and following the right first time principle for highest quality.
Industry-First GCF Certification for NTN Conformance Testing. - The first NTN (Non-terrestrial Network) NB-IoT RF conformance tests have been validated on the New Radio RF Conformance Test System ME7873NR, powered by Sony Semiconductor Israel (Sony)'s Altair device according to a statement from Anritsu. Gas analysis sales rise. - Signal Group experienced a significant rise in sales during 2023, with strong demand for its gas analysis and associated equipment. This will reduce the time buyers and compliance engineers are required to spend on compliance documentation when analysing supply chains to determine their own corporate environmental impact and ethical status. Controllers into industrial edge applications. - Softing has announced the expansion of its Docker-based edgeConnector product family with the introduction of edgeConnector Allen-Bradley PLC, providing convenient access to data from ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers. Unique feature for displays. - The new Powertip 8" high-resolution, high-brightness displays from Inalco uniquely feature an optional capacitive touch panel. This means that the many features (including high-resolution) can be accessed cost-effectively for applications that do not require a touch facility. AC/DC Split Core Current Sensor. - Yokogawa Test & Measurement Corporation announces the release of the CT1000S AC/DC split core current sensor. This instrument combines the accuracy of Yokogawa’s conventional current sensors with the convenience of a clamp design, and features a high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) and excellent frequency characteristics, even at measurement frequencies of 10 kHz or higher. As such, the CT1000S is an ideal solution for test applications that require wide-bandwidth, high-current measurement.
