Burglar resistant enclosures! - Developed especially for high MTBF applications requiring protection against vandalism, a new double-walled WK 4 outdoor enclosure is now available from Rittal. New VP Elect - John Metcalf, of the Spain Section has been elected as VP-elect for ISA's District 12, which covers Europe, Middle East and Africa. His term, as D12 VP, will start on 1st January 2013 when he will succeed Jean-Pierre Hauet. Vincent Levigoureux has been appointed to the position of French and Spanish account manager and will provide sales support to key OEM and distribution accounts. Wireless distributor in Pacific - LPRS has appointed Veloxity Components as their distributor for the Asia/Pacific region. Veloxity will principally sell the LPRS market leading easyRadio Advanced (eRA) industrial wireless communications modules as well as development kits and accessories. Machine monitoring system - The Siplus CMS2000 from Siemens is a system for monitoring machines which helps companies to increase the availability of their plants and selectively plan maintenance work.

New RF signal generator - The new TGR6000 RF signal generator from Aim-TTi is capable of sweeping from 10 MHz to 6000 MHz in a single range. Smart wireless meets environmental requirements in Sweden! - Korsnas Gavle is using Emerson Process Management's Smart Wireless conductivity and temperature transmitters to collect critical leak-detection monitoring data at its board and paper production unit at Gaevlebukten, Sweden. Improved monitoring enables the company to verify its compliance with environmental monitoring legislation.
