Maintenance Technician
Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) is a leading multi-national pharmaceutical company with two bulk manufacturing facilities in Dublin. Job Function:
Plan and execute maintenance tasks including preventive maintenance routines, calibrations, shutdown work, investigations and trouble shooting repairs, remediation and project activities.
Responsibilities:
Investigation, fault-finding and remediation/ fixing of process equipment issues and process control equipment including hardware (instrumentation) and software (e.g. DCS, PLC, Material Tracking System)
Thoroughly conduct any checks, inspections or audits necessary to ensure that equipment is operating effectively and safety and that the plant is being operated in a totally compliant manner. This will include compliance and regular maintenance and safety equipment checks across the range of engineering skills needed on site, e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Calibration skills, chemical control and PLC systems, DCS systems, computer systems, utility systems.
Maintenance Technician ideally with a background in electrical/ instrumentation
Main duties will include preventive maintenance routines, execution of calibration, trouble shooting and repairs.
Requirements ;
- Minimum qualification, Certificate in an engineering discipline, preferably in an electrical or instrumentation discipline
- Minimum of 3 years electrical/ instrumentation experience preferably in an automated process environment.

Based in Munster and Leinster
We are looking to recruit two (2) External Sales Engineers to work in Leinster and in Munster. One based in the busy Sales Department at our Clane, Co. Kildare head office and the Munster candidate working from a home based office. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to providing first class customer support to our existing large customer base in the Life Sciences, Water Waste Water, Food & Beverage, Primaries and General Industry. The candidates will be responsible for technical sales enquiries for our extensive range of Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, Digital Communications, Data and Life Cycle Management Products. Full training will be provided to the successful candidates - both in Ireland and abroad, as required. Expected to develop close business relationships, provide solutions to meet Customer's requirements and deal with it in a professional and efficient manner. The position requires communication skills, a positive attitude and the resilience to work under pressure. An engineering background to degree level (or industry-based equivalent) in electronics, instrumentation or mechanical engineering is preferable and previous work experience in the process industry or with instrumentation is preferred.
Internal Sales Engineer
Based in Clane Co. Kildare
We are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Engineer to work within the busy Sales Department at our Clane, Co. Kildare head office. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing first class customer support and be responsible for technical sales enquiries. Expected to 'own a problem' and deal with it in a professional and efficient manner. The position requires excellent telephone communication skills, a positive attitude and the resilience to work under pressure. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate as required. An engineering background to degree level (or industry-based equivalent) in electronics, instrumentation or mechanical engineering is preferable and previous work experience in the process industry or with instrumentation is preferred.
