  • Radar Level Gauge Ð Applications Are Clearly Segmented by User Needs - The market for Radar Level Gauges is at the early stages of maturing. Their application by users has started to stratify into clearly defined areas. "Almost a decade since its introduction, users are now applying radar technology for their plants in record numbers," according to ARC Senior Analyst Paula Hollywood, the studyÕs author. "Three distinct classes of non-contact gauges have emerged. The high end is being used for custody transfer, inventory management, and marine applications. The mid range is for highly agitated process vessels, and the low end is for storage and buffer tanks." European suppliers are dominating the radar level gauge market, holding better than 84 percent of the more than $203 million dollar worldwide market.
