 These tracks in the Pharmatex series of conferences superceded the Read-out Forum which took place every five years. The first one in 1998 was on Fieldbus - A way to save! and gathered together speakers from the "rival" fieldbusses to make the case for each! The second in 2003 was on Control and Automation in the Communications Era and was held in Cork at the Irchem Exhibition in 2003.
The third was Track C of the first
Pharmatex Conference and was an examination of Industrial Wireless and
was one of the first conferences held on this topic in the world.
